![]() ![]() ![]() Much as I like to support new enterprise I wonder where exactly Policar is headed and whether future investment is on the cards. Therefore I sit here with my coffee contemplating whether, depite the dotted lines, Carrera is the logical choice to make because it's tried and tested and with a decent range. The other thing is that I see no track pieces like crossovers and chicanes are shown on the Policar website, nor anything relating to digital. Perhaps several owners of Policar track would post their experiences with it? I don't relish the prospect of taking a drill to every new Policar track section I buy. This means there are gaps between track pieces, necessitating gringing the offending metal ends down. I find it unfathomable that this hangover from 1960s tracks is present in 2020!Īnyway, I noted a post here a while ago stating that the Policar track has rails slightly too long. I'd consider Carrera if it wasn't for those 'motorway' dotted lines. Am thinking of switching to Policar from Ninco early next year so I can dabble in 1/24 as well as 1/32.
